Forcing your perspective

I went on a much-needed vacation in the Caribbean almost a year ago. It was the first time in nearly 15 years and long overdue. For those who don’t know me personally, I work in IT as an analyst, programmer and overall tech.

Basically, all I do is imagine the ways that people will try to break my work and get away with that. Sometimes they even do get away with it, albeit not for long.

Hazy memories

At times we doubt our memories. Usually after a pretty good evening. The haze I am talking about here is of a different kind. This one is not as disconcerting.

Atmospheric haze forms when low on the ground it is colder than higher up. At least that is one way for it to form.

East coast rocks

Everybody knows that east coasts are usually calmer and more easily inhabitable. Right? East coasts are usually the green coasts, where no storm ever hits and the fields simply turn to beaches and then into the ocean.

The first week

For some, this week is the first week of winter, while for others, like me, winter is still three weeks away. It all depends on how your country has set up its seasons. The first week of December is, in most cases, a week of wintry weather.

Maritime colour

When you think of Nova Scotia, you think “green”. It’s lush and colourful, predominantly green. But what about any other colours? Ok, blue and grey are for the sky and the ocean, and that’s often the extent of the colour range imagined.
