Lazy Sunday

We all have them. Lazy Sundays, or any other day of the week. Those days where we have nothing else to do than “nothing”. They are pretty rare for me, though.

But days when you can go out alone or with like-minded friends for a photo journey are becoming rarer and rarer.

Old-world nature

Going back to the “old world” requires looking at everything we don’t have at this side of the pond. The first thing that jumps into view is nature.

Sunset

When you go to The Netherlands, you imagine a tiny country, it’s only twice as big as Lake Winnipeg after all, full of people and cities with no place to relax.

Not really a vacation

Sometimes you just have to go somewhere and take care of business. That doesn’t mean you can’t have a little bit of relaxation at the same time, right?

Brewing trouble

This time, I took limited gear with me; I knew there would be little time to stalk wildlife. Even more, I didn’t know what my mood toward relaxation would be.

Getaway (4)

Coming back from a tropical island into the drab and dreary climate of Canada at the end of winter is quite a shock. Even if you left that drab climate a mere week ago. How one gets used to the good stuff quickly!

Cable Car coming up

For a very long time, I kind of resisted the urge to go on a vacation somewhere else.

Sensory separation

Today, everything is about “media”, the more the better. Also, everything has to be mixed together, so everyone can experience it better.

Overload

It will sound “revolutionary” if I don’t subscribe to this concept. Just hear me out...?
